About the Doctors

Dr. Todd Hortman is a gifted healer who uses his extensive medical experience and intuition to care for the whole patient.

“As a health coach, I don’t just treat a patient’s symptoms, I treat them,” he says. “I enjoy spending the time to understand them as a person and all the unique challenges they face—like job and family—to recommend the most appropriate treatments.”

Following his graduation cum laude from Life University in 1996, Dr. Todd opened the Chiropractic Transformation Center. He is skilled at the biomechanics of the spine, utilizing techniques such as drop table, full spine, SOT, flexion distraction, soft tissue therapy and active rehabilitation to achieve balance and optimal function in the body. He is also a trusted resource on nutrition and how to establish healthy lifestyle habits and often works with other healthcare professionals to help patients achieve their goals. Dr. Todd lives in Cumming, Ga., with his wife, Carla, and their children, Emma and Ethan.

He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking and boating.




Dr. Jody Hortman is known for her gentle touch and her natural affinity for the unique physical challenges of motherhood. She graduated cum laude from Life University in 1999.

Dr. Jody takes the time to get to know each patient so she can provide the best holistic care. She is proficient in a variety of adjustment techniques, including full spine, drop table, flexion distraction, trigger point release, soft tissue work, and pregnancy and pediatric adjusting.

Dr. Jody, her husband, Peter, and their son, Andrew, live in Marietta, Ga. Her interests include natural child birth and holistic parenting. She enjoys spending time with her family, swimming and yoga

Dr. Todd is Dr. Jody's brother-in-law.
